The Nitto B2522AA-SSB is better known as the Jitensha bar, designed by the legendary Hiroshi Iimura of Jitensha Studio in Berkeley CA.
The B2522AA-SSB handlebar is a very popular bar for town and city use. With slick lines, comfortable ride feel and flat, swept back build it's found a home in the fixed gear and messenger world too.
Due to the small grip space, these bars will not accept gear controls, unless you're running an older 3 Speed Sturmey-Archer hub and trigger shifter.
The unique bend creates a comfortable ride that's perfect for a wide range of bikes and this version, being made of heat-treated aluminium and having a 31.8mm center, may very well be the stiffest town bars on earth!?
