These crankarms are CNC machined in-house from ultra-strong 2024 American alloy. This allows us to remove a lot of material for an elegant design, while retaining excellent strength and stiffness. J.I.S. Square Taper means you can really fine-tune the Q-Factor.
3-bolt SRAM Direct-Mount means you can choose from a wide range of chainrings and offset options.
When Paul suggested we bring back our classic 100% Pure Cranks, but with an updated design featuring a 3-bolt direct-mount chainring spline and self-extracting crankbolts, we got excited. When he suggested JIS Square-Taper for the bottom bracket, we were like, “Uh, square-taper in 2025? I dunno…”
But a funny thing happened once we started mounting and testing prototypes. We realized we could really fine-tune the Q-factor and chainstay clearance of the crankarms via BB spindle length, then we could get the chainring nice and close to the chainstay for better chainline in the bigger rear cogs via chainring offset (0, -3, -6). Q-Factor nerds rejoice!
Crankbolts, extractor caps, and chainring bolts are included. Bottom bracket and chainrings are not. Read the instructions (included, or in the Technical Information below) to help determine chainring offset and bottom bracket length.

We lost our shit when we saw these! And still loosing it! Square taper has been around a long time and for good reason! It just works - It's faff free and looks great.
The only down side with square taper is finding a decent Bottom Bracket these days. After Shimano discontinued the UN-55 series, there's not much left in the budget range. Velo Orange, Tange and First make some decent square taper BB's, if not you're looking at Phil Wood or Royce. With such an incredible crank - Why not go for an awesome Bottom Bracket to match.....
T47 frames - Phil Wood is your option.
Available Lengths - 155, 160, 165, 170, 175, 180 - However we are only stocking 170mm - We are happy to special order other lengths.
