From Brother Cycles -
The Kepler has been a stalwart in our lineup for nearly a decade and now see's some exciting design changes in 2024. The much-loved Kepler geometry remains, however, we’ve made some functional and cosmetic changes to bring the product in-line with what we’re looking for from a versatile steel frame such as the Kepler. These changes include:
- All new lugged steel fork with dynamo routing
- Internal cable routing for rear brake
- Brazed seat collar
- Bottle mounts on the down tube
- New Oak Leaf metal head badge
The Kepler can run either 700c or 650b wheels and has clearance for 700c x 45 or 650b x 48 tyres to keep you stable when the going gets tough.
Coming in fresh colours - A stand out Teal to Warm Grey fade dubbed 'Teal Is Real' and an earthly chilled 'Mellow Yellow'.
The frame is constructed from double butted 4130 chromoly steel, a functional tubing which provides the perfect balance of comfort and durability and we've applied an ED coating under the paint to protect against corrosion. It’s fully equipped to fit front and rear racks, mudguards and has three bottle mount positions if you’re loading up for a longer trip. To add to its bikepacking credentials the 2024 Kepler features triple cage mounts on each fork blade.
In the 9 years since it's launch, we've sent Keplers to every corner of the globe, from the Australian outback to the hills of California, up to the Highlands of Scotland and along the coastal trails of Dorset. Whether taking part in a multi-day bikepacking race or simply tackling the daily commute, the Kepler gets you there in style and with a smile on your face.
From Us -
Caps off to Keplers! This frame has been a must for us since Will and James dropped it back in 2015. I own and ride the black PM disc version every day and never tire of the nimble yet supple ride feel and pure hardwearing quality of the frame.
The new and updated version is awesome! Brother Cycles have jumped the Kepler to a new level! It's just such a versatile frame-set that can adapt to anything you chuck at it. Touring, Audax, Gravel and Off-Road Randonneuring riding are where this frame is at home but daily commuting with a flat bar set up would be perfect or a rough and ready winter training machine.....
It's a reliable, adaptable, well thought out piece of kit and we highly recommend them.
