Built by nerds 4 nerds! This custom wheel set is for Velo Orange's epic Mini Velo - The Neutrino.
Hope Pro 5 or Velo Orange Disc hubs laced to VeloCity Cliffhanger rims, using custom cut straight/plain gauge spokes and brass nipples.
We've chosen Hope hubs for a few reasons - They're super reliable, can have bearings replaced (when needed) and sound awesome. Really user friendly when its comes to servicing, reasonably priced and locally sourced. Steel free hubbody for extra strength and longevity, plus they look great.
Velo Orange are a great choice for hubs too, not only are they reliable, they're also user friendly and it's nice to match components to frame.

Cut on our Phil Wood spoke cutting machine to the perfect length, the DT Swiss Champion Stainless Steel spokes we use are developed specifically for all-round usage, the work-horse spoke!
This 14 gauge spoke is 2 mm thick throughout its length, made exclusively from Swiss X5 stainless steel that is manufactured by DT. A classic all round spoke for everyday use, offering DT's legendary quality and reliability.
32 hole and silver spokes/nipples - If other colour specs are required, please get in touch.
The Hope Hubs come 6 Bolt Disc with a Steel Shimano HG cassette fitment - Of course this can be changed, so please let us know :)
