Everybody's favourite MTB flat pedal from SunTour, the XC-II a.k.a. the "Bear Trap" is back! And the XC-III is even better! Rebuildable, tough, light and grippy, these were the bench mark pedal for 10 years in the MTB and BMX world.
SunTour unfortunately went bankrupt in 1988. Then Sakae Ringyo, a Japanese aluminium parts maker, purchased SunTour and formed SR Suntour and moved production to Taiwan.
The Blue Lug crew traced the original blueprint but added a little spice for the modern design. MKS are now making these classic and quintessential pedals and together with Blue Lug are adding delightful and gorgeous colours.
The bear traps are great for gravel, MTB, BMX and commuting and sit well on new and retro builds alike.
The wide platform gives you extra grip and a super stable feel. No need to explain MKS's smooth quality bearings, they’re well sealed and pretty easy to service when needed.
