Nitto made this stem to not only give people an option for a stem with maximum bar height and comfort, but also to make something that harks back to another time when mountain bikes were small frames with horizontal top tubes. These were designed by Nitto to make drop bars work with your small head tube MTB's.
These would have originally come on old Bridgestone's or the like. These are a great choice for any 26.0 clamp bars, throw it on and rip up the trails on your sweet retro MTB.
The 80mm gives a 168mm rise. The 100mm gives a 178mm rise. Made from forged aluminium.
22.2 quill for traditional systems.
35 deg angle.
26.0 clamp size with 160mm steerer length.
100mm stem does not have the shelf.
