The NITTO quill to threadless stem adapter, AKA Column Adapter is an adapter for using a threadless stem (most common stem size 1-1/8) with a threaded steerer.
If you are going to use a shim, adaptor, spacer or any other device and its location is critical to safety, it should be high quality and strong.
Nitto understands that testing and manufacturing a product so it's safe is important - This adapter is MTB rated and tough as old boots.
The NITTO-MTC comes in a few different versions so if your'er unsure, please get in touch.
Stack height is 42mm with a post length of 130mm. MTC-024L has a post length of 225mm.
MTC-021 - 22.2mm lower to 25.4mm upper. (Also Know As) 1" threaded to 1" threadless.
MTC-022 - 25.4mm lower to 28.6mm upper. (Also Know As) 1-1/8th threaded to 1-1/8th threadless.
MTC-023 - 28.6mm lower to 28.6mm upper. (Also Know As) 1-1/4 threaded to 1-1/8th threadless.
MTC-024 - 22.2mm lower to 28.6mm upper. (Also Know As) 1" threaded to 1-1/8th threadless.
MTC-024L - 22.2mm lower to 28.6mm upper. (Also Know As) 1" threaded to 1-1/8th threadless. Post length is 225mm.
Will not work with tall stack stems, as tall stems stack too high and will not clamp safely.
Will not work with Thomson stems.
