Velo Orange Elkhide Sew-On Leather Long Bar Covers

These covers are made of thick, but very very soft, elk hide. They are pre-perforated and cut extra long so as to fit even the widest bars. They work on drop bars, moustache bars and many city bike bars. Macchiato is the closest match to VO honey saddles; Espresso is closest to VO brown saddles.

Thick waxed thread and special blunt-point harness maker's needles are included, as are comprehensive illustrated instructions. It takes about two hours of mindless stitching to install. (Can't see the perforations? Pull the leather width-wise.) Use VO Saddle Care for wet-weather protection. The covers will stretch to fit over brake and shift cables, but they will not fit over gel pads.

The bar covers are long enough (570mm) to cover even 400mm wide bars; width is 75mm. The price is per pair; end plugs are not included.
