Velocity USA is a performance aluminium rim manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that manufactures rims and accessories for anyone passionate about bikes!
Velocity rim extrusion is sourced from Profile Precision Extrusions in Arizona, and they roll, drill, anodise, build and distribute the rims and wheels from their factory.
Designed as a wide, tubeless compatible, mountain rim option, the '35' part is a reference to its astounding width, which gives any wheel built with it a larger footprint with more traction. Very useful for cross-country and all-mountain riders who are looking for lateral stiffness without so much weight.
VeloCity do not make a downhill or enduro rim, though the B35 can be used for a variety of trail. If you're getting super gnarly and doing huge drops, this aluminium rim may not be your best choice.
If you're riding rugged trails with roots and rocks and the occasional drop - sure!
