We are humbled and honoured that Brooks have asked us to stock a few very special B17 saddles. These B17 saddles are the first ever collaboration that Brooks have done! And who better than the famous and awesome team at Blue Lug in Japan. Mat from BL has done one hell of a job!
The Brooks England x Blue Lug B17 is a special collaboration that blends Brook's 150+ years of saddle-making expertise with the distinctive design language of Blue Lug, one of Japan’s most influential bike shops.
Chromed Steel Rails replace the black powered coated rails found on the world renowned B17.
Instead of the classic silver tubular rivets, Blue Lug opted for the hand hammered copper rivets. Such a great choice!
Colourful tensioning strings usually only found on the craved saddles, add a lovely touch of colour. And of course in Blue Lug colours.For this special collaboration with Blue Lug, Brooks have crafted a unique side stamp. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of marking artifacts with a lasting signature or seal, the stamp simply reads "Name." Alongside this, they have left a blank space, inviting riders to add their own name - Making each saddle truly one of a kind.
It wouldn't be a Blue Lug special without a little something extra. A hand-crafted reflector triangle is included with this gorgeous B17 Special.
